REXON TYB-400 Coalescing Separation Oil Purifier has recently been successfully installed at a customer site in Mexico. Since the start-up, the equipment has been operating smoothly and stably, and the customer has reported very positive performance results in real working conditions, particularly in the treatment of their coolant oil.
What kind of oil purifier is the REXON TYB-400?
The model TYB-400 belongs to we REXON TYB series coalescing separation oil purifier, which is designed specifically to remove water and particles, and other contaminants from industrial oil, especially for which contains high quantity of water, like cutting oil, coolant oil, turbine oil, diesel, and so on.
How does the TYB-400 remove solid contaminants from oil?
First, the oil passes through a dual-stage filtration system equipped with bag filters. The question is: why bag filters? They provide a very large dirt-holding capacity, allowing the system to capture a significant amount of solid impurities without frequent clogging. When the filter bags become saturated, they can be replaced quickly and easily, minimizing downtime and maintenance effort.
How does the TYB-400 achieve efficient water removal?
This is the core of the coalescing separation technology. First, the contaminated oil enters the coalescing filter element. Then small water droplets combine into larger droplets. They are trapped and gradually merge together, this process is called coalescence.
They move into a separation chamber, where gravity takes effect. Because water is heavier than oil, the water droplets naturally settle at the bottom and are discharged automatically, while the clean oil continues flowing forward.
According to our Mexico customer’s feedback, this process is highly efficient, with the system capable of removing approximately 8 liters of water within just 30 minutes of operation.
Does this Oil Purifier include a heating system?
This is an important question when evaluating the equipment design that is suitable for our customer application.
Compared with our other oil purification systems, heating is commonly used. Because heating reduces oil viscosity and can accelerate water evaporation, especially in vacuum oil purifier machine.
However, this TYB-400 machine is specifically designed for applications such as coolant oil, where maintaining the original oil properties is critical. So, the TYB-400 is designed without a heating system.
This design is specifically optimized for coolant oil applications, where maintaining the original physical and chemical properties of the oil is essential. Heating could potentially alter viscosity, accelerate oxidation, and negatively impact oil stability. Without heating system, the TYB-400 ensures gentle purification while preserving coolant oil quality.
The successful operation of the TYB-400 in Mexico once again demonstrates REXON’s ability to design application-specific solutions. With its dual-stage bag filtration, efficient coalescing separation system, and non-heating design, the TYB-400 is particularly well-suited for cooling oil purification applications where stable oil properties and efficient water removal are both critical requirements.
